What I bring to Your Music

Every artist needs someone who gets what they’re trying to say — and knows how to help them say it better. That’s where I come in.

I’m a music producer, mix engineer, multi-instrumentalist and composer who loves helping artists make their songs sound alive. I play woodwinds, piano, bass, and drums, which means I can jump in and play most of the parts myself. When a track calls for something different — like guitar or another specialty instrument — I call on a handful of trusted pros I’ve worked with for years.

I’ve composed and arranged for chamber ensembles and jazz big bands, so when a song needs strings, horns, or something extra to make it stand out, I know how to craft parts that feel natural and expressive. My background runs deep: from childhood bands with my brothers, to years performing as a jazz saxophonist, to late nights playing in Brooklyn indie-rock bands.

I love experimenting with analog synths, drum machines, and tape — anything that gives music warmth and texture. My productions lean on real performances, acoustic instruments, and creative mic setups. After more than a decade of mixing across genres, I’ve developed a clear sense of how to make a track sound polished but still human.

At the end of the day, I love helping artists find that something special — the moment when a song feels like it’s finally become what it was meant to be.

Production

  • I help you take a song from idea to record. Whether you’re walking in with a voice memo or a full demo, I work with you to shape the arrangement, the sound, the energy, and the feel.. We’ll build arrangements, dial in sounds, and guide performances so your songs feel alive, cohesive, and unmistakably you.

  • Real instruments. Real rooms. Thoughtful mic choices. Whether we’re tracking a full band or layering parts, I capture performances with tone and intention—tape experiments and creative signal chains optional, but highly encouraged.

  • I’m a multi-instrumentalist (woodwinds, piano, bass, drums), which means I can jump in and play most of what your track needs. When it calls for guitar or other specialty parts, I bring in a small circle of trusted pros I’ve worked with for years. The result is a fully built, fully performed track that still sounds like you, not a template. My other unusual instruments I like to record are: vibraphone, marimba, glockenspiel, bass clarinet, timpani, chimes and more…

  • Work the way you work—remote stems, live Zoom notes, or in-studio sessions. Clear communication, organized files, and fast turnarounds keep the process smooth. In-person sessions available also.

Mixing & Mastering

  • I use a hybrid approach to mixing — blending analog warmth with modern precision. My API console and analog outboard gear bring depth, space, and character to your music, while the latest digital tools let me shape every detail. The result is depth, punch, and clarity—without losing the human feel.

  • Every project includes unlimited mix revisions until you absolutely love what you hear.

Instrumental Arrangements

  • Need strings, brass, or woodwinds that lift a chorus or widen a bridge? I write bespoke parts that serve the song—adding color, movement, and emotion without crowding the mix.

  • Already have a string or horn arrangement? Let me organize the musicians and hold the recording session for you. I love recording string quartets and brass ensembles!
